Collaborate with director and co-storyboard artists to achieve following goals:

  • Draw extensive beat boards to explore acting, staging, camera placement, and continuity in collaboration with director, before refining into a pitchable storyboard.  Track character motivation and movement within sequence.

  • Follow extensive reference for props, characters, costumes, and backgrounds.

  • Pitch own rough sequences to story team, production team, and director.

  • Pose out action, finalize character poses, draw backgrounds, transcribe dialogue, adjust timing when necessary, add mattes, and organize scenes and layers, all within Storyboard Pro.  Work closely with director to meet show standards.

  • Indicate camera direction explicitly and character placement in scene where applicable.

  • Pose out action, insert backgrounds, finalize drawings, write dialogue captions, and organize scenes and layers, all within Storyboard Pro.

  • Energetically pitch episodes to crew.
